The Companies have a policy, starting with management and spread throughout the organisation, which actively encourages employees to report every actual and near miss incident, including unsafe acts. Because of this approach our employees know that the reporting of incidents will not have a negative effect on their professional career within the companies.

The QHSE department has implemented an electronic Incident Reporting System for all our vessels. All data are compiled and processed in the incident database, which is managed by the QHSE department, and from which the individual departmental statistics are produced.

The Companies have accumulated thousands of man-years of HSE experience in offshore operations and are strongly focussed on sharing this experience with all our employees. The feedback on the HSE performance of each department is dispersed throughout the organisation by publication of the monthly departmental HSE reports. In addition, safety bulletins are distributed to the employees that highlight events or incidents on which we wish to focus.
