QHSE Training

Fugro Norway recognises that the provision of training is an essential part of its QHSE Management System, and understands that well trained personnel are a key factor in preventing incidents and eliminating health risks in the work place.

Managers and Supervisors at all levels attend a variety of QHSE training courses, and all personnel working offshore are provided with safety training consistent with IAGC and OGP Guidelines. Below is a list of training courses provided to personnel as applicable.

  • First Aid
  • Survival Training
  • Fire Fighting
  • HSE Management
  • Risk Assessment
  • Fast Rescue Craft
  • Work-Boat
  • Safety Delegates
  • Job specific training

All personnel working offshore are provided with first aid, survival and fire fighting training, and a number of personnel are provided with additional advanced first aid and fire fighting training. Key personnel are provided with HSE management and risk assessment training appropriate to their position.  These are courses developed by Fugro and approved by the British Marine Safety Agency.

All new personnel receive an induction to the QHSE Management System through an induction course held by the QHSE Manager, supported by various seminars utilising both internal and external instructors. Training is monitored and recorded for all employees.
