Being an integral member of the Fugro Geoscience Division, one of the world’s largest and most progressive and versatile geoscience service organizations, Fugro Seismic Imaging (FSI) is an established provider of seismic data processing services to Oil & Gas Companies engaged in exploration, appraisal and development of hydrocarbons.
Major processing centers are located in London, Oslo, Houston and Perth, with smaller centers worldwide. Onboard processing for the Fugro-Geoteam fleet worldwide is managed by the Oslo center.
FSI worldwide currently employs more than 250 professionals, processing and research geophysicists, plus support staff.
Services
Fugro Seismic Imaging (FSI) provides data processing services for 2D, 3D and 4D
seismic datasets from land, marine, transition zone and OBC/OBS environments.
Primary service offerings cover:
- Acquisition QC
- On-board processing
- Time processing from field tapes to final workstation volumes
- Specialist time processing – GeoQube, high-resolution short-offset 3D
- Depth imaging and t2d/d2t conversion
- AVO analysis
- AI inversion (post-stack deterministic)
- 4D/time-lapse for reservoir monitoring
FSI has nine onshore centres and operates on all Fugro seismic acquisition vessels.
Most onshore centres and all offshore units are ISO9001 (equivalent) certified.
FSI has a large R&D effort and services are principally based on its own software:
UNISEIS, MGIVA, QD, SHIMOGEN and many others.

FSI AS Norway
FSI Oslo has two main areas of responsibility:
- Acquisition QC and onboard processing on all Fugro-Geoteam vessels worldwide
- Processing of newly acquired and reprocessing of vintage seismic data for internal and external clients in the Norwegian market
