MPSV Atlantis Dweller’s main characteristics: 70 metre length, 16.5 m beam, accommodation for 70 people. Cost effective machinery, Shelter deck design, unique hangar arrangements to fit two WORK ROVs and one medium class ROV and/or Dive spread.
60 tonne active heave compensated (AHC) main crane with 10t AHC whip line, both 1500msw, all crane machinery and winches placed below deck, a unique centre ship crane position to optimize operational reach over both sides and over stern, making the vessel self mobilizing.
A Helideck S92 is positioned off-centre to starboard to enable maximum access when the vessel is working alongside platforms in diving or crane mode. A flush deck and no cargo rails ease handling of structures and spools. An integrated stern slipway for handling of loading hoses and a built-in hose flushing plant is among other special features. The deck and ship side is prepared for an over-the-side Module Handling System, a concept developed by Fugro RUE.
